JFC (Junior Football Championship), after a very successful first year we will be starting its 2012-13 edition on 24th November, 2012. The orientation for the League is on 17th November 2012.
JFC is the premier soccer "Little League Tournament" for children from 5 to 12 years of age in Mumbai. The bases of the league were formed after researching some of the top little leagues from around the World. Children are part of teams and the teams play each other over the course of a few months on fixed Saturdays. Aside from the child's own game which is fun in itself - we have created an environment for a "day out for the family" with over 4 matches going on simultaneously and parents out in strength to support and even coach their children.

For League1 & 2 Coaches will be allowed on the pitch. However they are strictly not allowed to touch the ball and they are not permitted to enter the box near the goal. Coaches for League 3, 4 and 5 have to remain on the bench with their Team Substitute.
Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. Team with the maximum points at the end of the League will win the Championship.
Goal difference will not come into play in this tournament. This rule has been specifically been introduced, so that when a team is in a winning position, then the team coach will be encouraged to give more chances to players on the bench and not just play their best players to win with a bigger goal margin.
If teams are tied on the same point at the end of the league, then we will use the following procedure to determine the winners.
a. The respective two teams head-to-head record
b. The highest number of wins over all teams
c. The highest number of draws over all teams
d. If the teams still cannot be separated, then there will be a penalty shoot-out on the final day
